Explore Armenia’s remarkable history while learning hands-on building conservation skills that support community sustainability and economic growth in Gyumri.
Journey through centuries of Armenia’s momentous past. Visit sites and hear stories that take you from the 3rd century BC through the 20th century saga of Gyumri. Meet the friendly, resilient people of Armenia, and work with an artisan carrying on the long tradition of stone carving.
You’ll be part of a unique experience at the Yuzbashyan residence, one of the last unaltered homes built during Gyumri’s most prosperous era. Learn new skills in wood window preservation and use these hands-on skills to help bring the heart of the Kumayri historic district back to life. No experience necessary.
